Light: Think Simply.
Light is either sunny with shadows or cloudy without shadows. Let the lighting conditions determine what subjects you photograph. In the right photo, there is a cloudy sky and no shadows (low contrast light), you can point the camera in any direction and have very similar lighting conditions. This diffuse or soft light yields wonderful color saturation and detail. The left image is photographed under bright sun (high contrast), which produced very harsh and confusing shadows.
